About this work

Description

Typescript of A B Meggy and J Sikorski, "The dimorphism of polyglycine," sent to Crick prior to its publication as a letter to the editor, Nature, 177: 4503 (1956), 326-7.

The covering letter (1 December, 1955) from Sikorski refers to a forthcoming Conference in Leeds (3-4 January, 1956), at which "more details" will be given. Enclosed with the typescript are seven electron micrographs of polyglycine II (b/w, various sizes, each stamped "Textile Physics Laboratory, Textile Industries Department, University of Leeds").
