Biographical note

Project Summary:The London Borough of Islington is marking the 21st anniversary of National Black History Month with a series of events that celebrate science and scientific achievement. The members of the community are invited to take part in nine key events over a sixweek period from 27 September to 31 October 2008. The festivities will place a special emphasis on targeting Islington children, young people and their parents. As one of the borough's largest season of free events, this year's programme will give children and adults the opportunity to discover science in taster sessions and workshops, alongside hearing some of the latest debates in the field.
