Ribbons from wreaths laid in Westminister Abbey on 6th April 1927 for the Lister Centenary Celebration, and acquired for the Lister Centenary Exhibition at the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum for Lord Lister (1827-1912):

One ribbon in red, white and blue with "L'academie des Sciences de l'Institut de France a Lord Lister" [The French Academy of Science to Lord Lister] painted in gold.

One red, white and blue ribbon without text.

Three strips of ribbon, two pink, and one white and blue, joined together, with the text "From The University of Oslo".

One white ribbon in two parts with the text "To Lister The German Academies of Science".

Two orange ribbons with the text "In greatful memory of Lord Lister" in Dutch and "De Nederlandsche Vereeniging voor Heelkunde" [The Dutch Society for Surgery].

One red, white and blue ribbon with the text "L'Institut pasteur de Paris a Lord Lister" [The Pasteur Institue of Paris to Lord Lister] painted in gold.
