Notes

Gabriele Bock comes from Germany, moved to UK over 10 years ago. She believes in freedom and democracy. Is going to mark the anniversary of 9/11 the Twin Towers and will be reading from Jack Kerouac's 'On the Road' Experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall when she was undergloing chemotherapy. Works for the Germany Embassy in London on cultural events, exhibitions etc. Will also be raising funds for the Marie Curie charity.
