The new act of assembly of the island of Jamaica, intitled, An Act to repeal an Act, intitled, ̀̀an Act to repeal several Acts, and Clauses of Acts, respecting Slaves, and for the better Order and Government of Slaves, and for other Purposes:'' And also to repeal the several Acts, and Clauses of Acts, which were repealed by the Act intitled as aforesaid; and for consolidating and bringing into One Act the several Laws relating to Slaves, and for giving them further Protection and Security; for altering the Mode of Trial of Slaves charged with capital Offences; and for other Purposes; Commonly Called, The New Consolidated Act, Which was passed by the Assembly on the 6th of November-by the Council on the 5th Day of December-And by the Lieutenant Governor on the 6th Day of December, 1788; Being the present Code Noir of that Island. Published for the Use of both Houses of Parliament, and the Satisfaction of the Public at large, by Stephen Fuller, Esq. Agent for Jamaica.
