This Work contains at least three Times more than any former Edition. The additions are, A Compendium of Anatomy, by Question and Answer. A Formulae for the Diseases incident to the white and black Inhabitants of the Indies, together with the medical Remedies that Country produces for each Disease. A Treatise of Cancers, with the Case of Mrs. Phillips, of Birmingham, describing the Remedy that the Author made Use of to extirpate a Cancer from her Breast, which weighed about seven ounces: She was upwards of fifty Years of Age.
