Summary account of the life and death of Joseph Quasson, Indian; who on the 28. day of August 1725. at Arundel in the county of York, & province of Main [sic], in New-England, shot his fellow-soldier and kinsman, John Peter: so that he died of the wound in a few days. For which murder being apprehended, tried, and after conviction, condemned at York in the province aforesaid, on the 12th of May following; he was there executed on the 29th of June, 1726. The confession, declaration, dying warning and advice of Patience Sampson, alias Patience Boston, who was executed at York, July 24th. 1735 for the murder of Benjamin Trot of Falmouth in Casco Bay, a child of about eight years of age, which she drowned in a well, July 9th. 1734, and went immediately and accused her self before one of His Majesty's justices of the peace, continuing her self-accusation from first to last; even on her trial; standing to it also from her condemnation, to the very time of her execution.
