With a Supplement of Dr. Boyle, Sydenham, Pontesque, and others Observations and Experiments, and select Ones of the Author's, which Gentlemen never yet knew, and till this time wanted; Particularly to know an infected Person from a clean one, altho in the Dark. Teaching unfortunate Persons, who seriously wish their Recovery. First, To understand exactly their own Case, viz. Whether infected or not: In what Degree of Malignity, and if perfectly well after former Cures. Secondly, To cure themselves in few Days of secret Injuries, Owzings, Gleets, Runnings, Swellings, Inflammations, Breakings Out, and other Weaknesses, as well as if many eminent Physicians attended 'em: Also gnawing Pains, old Gleets, hard Testicles, fistulated Ulcers or Buboes, Excrescencies, Salty Tast, excessive Heat or Cold, Vertigo, Stinking or Shortness of Breath, Load on the Stomach, Phthisick, Consumption, Hoarseness, Cramp, ugly Fevers, Obstructions, Evil, Dropsy, Gout, Rheumatism and All other Maladies occasion'd by former ill Cures, without the least Confinement or Suspicion, even of their Bosom Friend; and that by the Royal Specifick, the Dose being but a Grain, so innocent and pleasant as not to create nauseous Risings in the Stomach like others; working so easy, pursuing so closely, and overcoming its Enemies so soon, altho' in the inmost parts, as is admir'd by all, carrying off the Malignity by all secretory and excretory Ways; and perfectly Cures not only the 1st, 2d, but also the 3d Stage, which is acknowledged by most to be incurable, which clearly shews the Truth of all that is here asserted.
