The life of Thomas Ld Cromwell, a black-smith's son, born at Putney in Surry, King Henry Viii. first knighted him; then made him Master of the Jewel Office, Privy Counsellor, Master of the Rolls, Knight of the Garter, Earl of Essex, Great Chamberlain and Ld High Chancellor of England, and the King's Vice-Gerent to represent his own Person. Yet, after Eleven Years Grandeur, he was Impeached and Attainted in Parliament, and Beheaded on Tower-Hill, in the Year 1541. Sic transit Gloria Mundi Collected from most authentick authors.

The surprising Yorkshire prophecy farther opened: which foretold the principal events that hath happened to England, both in church and state from the reign of King Henry Viii. down to the present reign of his Gracious Majesty King George II. and likewise tells of things yet to come. Part of this prophesy was opened and explained by a gentleman, and published in the year 1740, but most Part of the Remainder which that Gentleman judged himself uncapable of opening, is now unveiled and made plain to every Capacity.
