Epitomy of navigation, Containing plain and easy rules, for the working all plain triangles, and their application to plain, traverse, oblique, Mercator and middle latitude sailing; with spherical trigonometry in all its cases, and its application to all the necessary problems in astronomy. To which is added, all necessary tables of the sun's declination, latitude and departure, meridional parts, latitude and longitude of places, &c. Concluding with a compleat table of logarithms, sines, tangents, &c. With the use of all the tables illustrated by examples. First written by Gellibrand, Norwood, and Jones; and now collected and digested into one compendium of navigation.

A treatise of trigonometry, plane and spherical, theoretical and practical. In which the several cases of plane and spherical triangles are solved, instrumentally and arithmetically. As likewise a Treatise of Stereographic and Orthographic Projection of the Sphere. In which the Principles and Theorems on which they depend, are clearly Demonstrated, and the Practice naturally deduced from those Demonstrations. Illustrated in the Stereographic Projection of the several Cases in Right and Oblique Angled, Spherical, Triangles: So that the Requisites may be found without Calculation, by Scale and Compass. To which is added a correct table of logarithms, sines, tangents and secants. By Sam Heynes, late Reader of the Mathematics to His Majesty's Engineers.

Sciographia, or the art of shadowes. Plainly demonstrating, out of the sphere, how to project both great and small circles, upon any plane whatsoever: with a new conceit of reflecting the sunne beames upon a diall ... All performed, by the doctrine of triangles ... by the helpe of the late invented ... numbers, called by the first inventor [Edmund Gunter] Logarithmes / By J.W.

The description and use of the universall quadrat : By which is performed, with great expedition, the whole doctrine of triangles, both plain and sphericall, two severall wayes with ease and exactness. Also the resolution of such propositions as are most usefull in astronomie, navigation, and dialling. By which is also performed the proportioning of lines and superficies: the measuring of all manner of land, board, glasse; timber, stone. &c. / By Thomas Stirrup, Philomathemat.

Jubar astrologicum, or a true astrological guide : divided into two parts. The first is an exact and easie way for the beginning or entering into this art: shewing the names and nature of the signs, panets and aspects; the erecting of a figure by tables of houses, by tables of right and oblique-ascention, the doctrine of triangles, or by the plain scale by help of the line of chords only, for any latitude either north or south; very useful for seamen or any other travelers; with the whole instructions necessary to this art. The second sheweth a very plain and easie way to give judgement upon an astrological figure, concerning the transaction of humane life, viz. of the state of the body, riches, brethren, fathers, children, sickness, marriage, death, long journeys or voyages, honour, friends, imprisonment, or any other question whatsoever may be answered. With the true art of directions by the doctrine of triangles, very useful in nativitie. Whereunto is added an example upon every house, viz. the figure set and judged. By william Thra.
