A catalogue of a most valuable and curious collection of Greek and Roman gold and silver medals, lately purchased abroad by Dr. Giraldi. Among many others equally rare, are the twelve cs̆ars in gold and silver, in the highest preservation. With variety of scarce medals, many of which are not to be met with in the most curious cabinets; and is presumed to be the choicest collection which has been exhibited to public sale this Kingdom, since that of the celebrated Dr. Mead. Also three very numerous series of samples of antique marbles finely polished; with a copious, accurate, and explanatory MS. Catalogue; a very fine cameo; and some onyxes set in rings: Which will be sold by auction by W. Bristow, the corner of Little Suffolk-Street, in Great Suffolk-Street, Charing-Cross, on Monday May the 18th, 1767, and the four following days, beginning precisely at twelve. The whole may be viewed on Thursday May the 14th; and (Sunday excepted) to the time of sale; when catalogues may be then had at the place of sale, and of W. Bristow, Rolls buildings, Fetter-Lane: who sells by commission, on the most reasonable terms, estates, stocks in trade, furniture, medals, books, pictures, prints, &c. or procures immediate purchasers for them.
