Adam, during their Stay in Italy, from the most celebrated Collections of that Country; namely, that of the Vatican, Barbarini, Matei, Furietti, Massimi &c. &c. &c. Also a Catalogue Of a very Noble and Capital collection of pictures, By the greatest Masters of the Italian and Flemish Schools; And a singular and Beautiful-Collection of finish'd Drawings, fram'd and glaz'd; the most elegant Decoration for the Dressing-Rooms of the Ladies, and likewise for the Cabinets of the Virtuosi. Which will be sold by auction, By Mr. Christie, At the great Room belonging to the Society of Artists of Great Britain, betwixt Exeter 'change, and the bottom of Catherine Street in the Strand. Part I. of Flin's sale catalogue of books for the year 1766. [B]eing several parcels lately purchased in London and elsewhere. Consisting of some thousands of volumes in all branches of literature, arts, and sciences, in most languages. Which will be sold cheap for ready money only, at said Flin's Shop at the Bible in Castle-Street. For sale to begin on Wednesday the 6th of November 1765. The lowest price being marked in the catalogue, and to continue on sale until the 1st of May next. [The] said place most money may be had for any library of parcel of books. [And] also values books or sells them by auction for those that piease to employ him. To prevent idle demands, four-pence is charged for this catalogue which will be remitted in the first purchase that amounts to five shillings. N.B. The second part will be published on Tuesday the 26th instant.
