And at the same time, will continue selling the libraries of Edward Webbe, Esq; and others. Catalogues to be had at every noted town in England, Scotland, France and Ireland; and at the place of sale: where may be had money for any library, or parcel of books, prints, or, manuscripts.

A catalogue of a choice and valuable collection of books: being the libraries Of a late eminent Serjeant at Law, and of Dr. Edmund Halley, Late Astronomer Royal, at his Majesty's Observatory at Greenwich; Savilian Professor of Geometry in Oxford; Vice-President of the Royal Society of London, and a Member of the Royal Academy at Paris. Which will begin to be sold, the Price marked in each Book, at T. Osborne's shop in Gray's-Inn, on Thursday the twentieth of May, and continue Selling all the Summer Season. Where is also to be Sold, as it was sent from the Holy Land, as a Present to the said late Doctor, a most curious and compleat Model of the whole Temple of Christ's sepulchre at Jerusalem: From the Shewing whereof, the Profits arising have been farmed by the Turks at above 3000 l. Sterling per Ann. Further Particulars of which Model may be seen, in a Table, printed in this Catalogue. N. B. As the Season is so far advanced, and there will be but, a small Number of Catalogues printed, it is desired, that such Gentleman as would have the same, will be so kind as to send for them, there not being Time to distribute them as usual.

A catalogue of the libraries of Richard Graham, Esq; the learned Mr. Thomas Day, an eminent Divine of the Church of Rome. The Rev. Mr. Cawley, late rector of Wandsworth, and several others. Particularly, a curious parcel of Italian books; a fine collection of prints, and books of prints, of the best Engravers, and most eminent Masters; collected from the curious library of the late Mons. L'abbe D'orleans ou Routhelin, Author of Anti-Lucretius, at Paris. The whole containing above thirty Thousand Volumes. The Benedictine Editions of the Fathers; the pompous and other Editions of the Greek and Roman Classics, and Lexicons; Antiquities, Medals, Mathematics: A large Collection of French, Italian, and Spanish Historians, and near a complete Collection of our English Historians, Physic, and Natural History. An uncommon Collection of Civil Law; great Numbers of them printed upon Vellum, and bound in Morocco, and in the richest Bindings Several Hundred Volumes in Manuscript, relating to the History, Antiquities, Laws, and Customs of Great-Britain; more particularly the City of London. A complete Set of Common Law, with several Volumes of Law Reports, in Manuscript, never yet printed. To which is added an appendix, containing, an entire Library of the most scarce and valuable Books in Classical and other Learning; great Numbers on the Large Paper in elegant Bindings; being prized at a much cheaper Rate than usual. Which will begin to be sold (for ready Money only) at T. Osborne's, in Gray's-Inn. (the lowest Price printed in the Catalogue of each Book.) On Monday, the 11th of December, and will continue selling, every day, till Lady-Day, 1750. A catalogue of the libraries of that learned antiquarian Nathaniel Boothe, Esq; and others, purchased since the Harleian collection: Containing above twenty-thousand volumes, relating to the history and antiquities of all nations; amongst which are, the Journals of the House of Lords, 105 vols. in manuscript. The Votes of the House of Commons, 48 vols. The London Gazette, 40 vols. ... Aldrovandus's works compleat; in 13 vols. civil, canon, and common law books. Troctatus Tractatuum, 28 vols &c. Books of medals, inscriptions, mathematicks, and other arts and sciences. To which is added, a fine collection of Italian, Flemish, and French prints, by the greatest masters, and a choice parcel of original manuscripts. On account of the largeness of this collection, there is a longer time than usual given for the sale, that gentleman, who live at a distance, may have time to peruse the catalogue, to see the particular books they have occasion for; which they may do every day (the books being in order) till the day of sale, which will be on monday, the 12th day of January, for ready money (only) the prices being marked cheaper than usual, in the first leaf of each book, at T. Obsorne's in Gray's-Inn, and will continue selling all the summer season. where may he had money for any library or parcel of books. N.B. Glanvil, Esq; the Revd. Mr. Jackson, and several others. Amongst which are a collection of fine prints and drawings by the most eminent masters; the Greek and Roman classicks, antiquities, histories, voyages, &c. A large collection of French, Italian and Spanish; several hundred volumes of manuscripts, and almost a complete collection of law books. Which will begin to be sold, at T. Osborne's, in Gray's-Inn, (for ready money only) on Monday the 29th of May, 1749, and on account of the largeness of the sale, will be continued selling on every day till the first of august. Gentlemen may be supplied with this catalogue by Mr. Rollin at Perisa Mr. Vanderhoeck at the Hague.
