<p>William has lost his stirrups and his crown as he rides over geese wearing coronets. He rides past an inn named after John Bull who stands in the doorway as a turnpike keeper. The two men who follow are Hume and O'Connell. Behind a barrier stand the Radical members for Westminster. Satire on the aftermath of William IV's dramatic dissolution of parliament on 22 April 1831</p>
