John Avery , the famous English pirate, (rais'd from a cabbin-boy, to a king) now in possession of Madagascar: Being a Succinct Account of his Birth, Parentage, Education, Misfortunes, and Successes, viz. His Marriage with the said Princess, and his Men with her Retinue. The Methods he took to establish himself. His Wealth, Strength, and Acquisitions by Sea and Land: His Character. The several Overtures he has made to return to his Obedience. A Description of the Country; with its Customs, Manners, &c. Written by a person who made his escape from thence, and faithfully extracted from his journal.
