    The state of England in 1588 In a letter from a priest at London to the Spanish ambassador at Paris: Giving A particular Account of our Warlike Preparations, with the Names of the Nobility and Gentry, &c. as well Catholick as Protestant, who voluntarily and generously raised, headed, and maintained great Numbers for Sea and Land, to support their Sovereign, and defend their Country.
