The elders, ministers, and messengers, of the several Baptist churches, of the Western Association, meeting at Plymouth, Plymouth-Dock, Kingsbridge, Bovey-Tracey, Exeter, Tiverton, Bampton, Prescott, Wellington, Upottery, Hatch, Loughwood, Chard, Horsington, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Lyme, Portsea, Salisbury, Bath, Broadmead, Bristol, Pithay, Bristol, and Horstey. Having received letters from Launceston, Truro, and Chacewater, Collumpton, Stokegomer, Winbourne, Frome, Beckington, Crockerton, Paulton, Bratton, Bradford, Wilts, Melksham, Grittleton, and Malmsbury, Calne, Cheltenham, Sodbury, and Thorubury. Being met in association at Exeter, in Devonshire, May 25 and 26, 1796. To the churches they represent send Christian salutation.

The False baptism manifested: Or, An answer to a new and curious question, propos'd by one of lorrain to a swiss. Concerning the name which certain French refugees have, with evil intention, impos'd upon such of God's elect, as are newly call'd to the visible communion of his church. A work publish'd, as well for the edification of the sincere among the refugees, as also for the consolation of all proselytes, and submitted to the consideration, of the very illustrious and pious prelates, as also the learned and charitable Clergy, of the noble and generous English nation, as an appeal to their justice. The whole done from the Frech, and design'd as a suplement to Mr. Denis's spiritof the French refugees unveil'd.
