County of Southamton. A true copy of the poll book for the election of one knight, in the room of Sir Simeon Stuart, bart. deceased; taken at Alrefford, in the said county, (by virtue of an act of Parliament passed in the 20th year of His Present Majesty King George the Third) the 13th of December 1779, and there continued till the 21st of the said month; and from thence adjourned to Newport, in the Isle of Wight, to Tuesday the 28th; at which place the poll was finished, Sir Richard Worstley having declined the contest.
