The age of paper; or, An essay on banks and banking. Containing the history the history of the most remarkable paper bubbles that have existed in Europe; with their effects on society and public credit; pointing out the ruin with which both are threatened from too great an extension of the circulation of paper of any kind. A general treatise of the reduction of the exchanges, moneys and real species of most places in Europe, in two exact tables. The first, containing the reduction of exchanges, according to the par; with the profits and losses, according to the rising and falling of the exchange. The second, containing the reduction of moneys, of each place (according to their real in[t]rinsick value) into that of all the other places here treated of. With a brief explication of the said tables in an alphabetical order. Newly published at Amsterdam, with the privilege of the states of Holland and West-Friezeland; and now made English.
