Proceedings in an action at law, brought by the Mayor, bailiffs, and burgesses, of the borough of Liverpool, for the recovery of a penalty under a by-law made by them in Common Hall assembled. Containing the arguments of the counsel, as well at Nisi Prius, as upon the motion for a new trial in the court of King's Bench; The proceedings on the second trial at Lancaster; and on a motion in the Court of King's Bench for a third trial, with the reasons at large Of the Hon. the Justices of the said Court for granting the same.
