The life of Nicholas Mooney, alias Jackson, born at Regar near Rathfarnham in the County of Dublin: Wherein is contained; an Account of his Parentage and Education; his being put Apprentice to a Paper-Maker at Glassnevin; his Elopement from his Master, and going to Sea; his Return to Ireland, and enlisting in his Majesty's Service; his Desertion, and joining the Rebel Army at Carlisle; his Advancement there, and the Part he acted therein, till the Defeat thereof at Culloden-Mure; his Escape to France; the Adventures he met with till he took to the Highway; the many Robberies he committed in and about London; with a brief Account of his vicious Life till he committed the Robbery at Bristol, for which he was condemned and executed there on Friday, April 24, 1752.
