Lord-mayors and sheriffs. (with several remarkable transactions, not published before) from different manuscripts, down to the third year of the Reign of His Present Majesty King George the second. To which is added, a description of the most noted towns in Yorkshire, with the antient buildings that have been therein, alphabetically digested for the delight of the reader; not only by the assistance of antient writers, but from the observations of several ingenious persons in the present age.
