A catalogue of the genuine and entire collection of Mr. William Powell, late of the borough of Southwark, deceased; Consisting of books, prints, books of prints, mauscrpts, several curious Roman missals, on vellum, finely illuminated; and also, all his coins and medals, microscopes, &c. &c. &c. Which will be sold by auction, by Whiston Bristow, at St. Paul's Coffee-House, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 8th, 9th, and 10th of March, 1762. The books will be sold on Monday and Tuesday evenings, beginning exactly at six o'clock. The medals, coins, manuscripts, prints, &c. will be sold on Wednesday noon, beginning preceisely at twelve. Including a great number of foreign portraits, many of which belong to the British series, the whole arranged alphabetically, to assist the purchasers in finding more readily the prints they may want, and very convenient for those who may wish to illustrate Morreri's, or any other biographical dictionaries, which, with many capital portfolios, superbly bound in morocco, will be sold by auction, by Mr. King, at his house, No. 6, Tavistock-Row, Covent-Garden, on Thursday, February 22, 1798, and two following days, at twelve o'clock.
