Whereas certain wicked and evil minded persons having the fear of Block the third before their eyes, and being moved and instigated by his Master, the Right Reverend the Devil, have with an evil Intent, most scandalously and maliciously attempted to deface and obliterate the good Name and honorable Title of Citizen Lee, it is hereby humbly requested that the Supreme Majesty of the people would inflict due Chastisement and Correction on the Offenders when discovered, and their evil and dark Deeds brought to Light; likewise it is declared that any individual Citizen who shall contribute to perform the above good Work will receive the Approbation and thanks of every good Patriot, and ̀̀deserve well of his Country'' This likewise gives timely Notice to every one whose pious Loyalty may hereafter be siezed with a similar Fit of Madness, and thereby attempt to perpetrate the above Crime; that each and every such Character must prepare to receive the fraternal Salute of a Republican Blunderbuss, as Citizen Lee, and his brave Colleagues, are determined to defend to the utmost of their Power, their good Name, and what Property the Fangs of Oppression shall leave them, against the hostile Attacks of Church and King Rioters.
