A catalogue of a valuable library, Collected by the Late Chancellor Cox, Sir Richard Cox, bart. and the Rev. Sir Michael Cox, bart. Consisting of some of the most approved authors in history, biography, divinity, law, husbandry, travels, classics, arts and sciences. Among which are the following: Johnson's English dictionary, 2 volumes, folio, Irish statutes at large, 9 volumes, Journal of the Commons of England, with MMS. Notes by Sir Richard Cox, 23 volumes, Biographia Britannica, 4 volumes. Complete system of geography, 2 vols. with 70 cuts. Which will be sold by auction, on Wendesday the 26th instant, at Mr. Zachary Morris's Great Room, in Boland's lane.-The auction to begin at 11 o'clock, and stop at 3, each day, until all are sold. No book to be put up only in succession.

A catalogue of the large and valuable library of the late learned and ingenious Mr. Michael Maittaire, deceased; consisting of the greatest variety of books in most parts of polite literature; amongst which are particularly the scarcest editions of the classics, printed by R. and H. Stephens, Vascosan, Turnebus, Elzevir, Aldus, Morell; and other eminent printers. Containing in the whole forty-four nights sale. In order to render which less inconvenient to the literati (by reducing the sale to a more agreeable length of time) the same is divided into two parts, the first of which will begin selling by auction, by Mess. Cock and Langford, (of the Great Piazza, Covent-Garden,) on Monday the 21st day of November 1748, and the nineteen following evenings (Sundays excepted) beginning each evening at five of the clock precisely: and (after the intermediate distance of one month) the second part will be exhibited to publick auction in like manner. Catalogues of which may be had at Mr. Cock's in the Great Piazza aforesaid, at two shillings each part. Note, timely notice of the place of sale will be given in the Daily Advertiser and other public papers.

A catalogue of the large and noble library of James West, Esq; of King's-Street, Covent-Garden, deceased; late President of the Royal Society; consisting of an uncommon number of British history and antiquities, many on large paper and with manuscript notes: a matchless collection printed by Caxton, Wynkin de Worde, Pynson, &c. with great variety of others in the finest preservation, and most elegant bindings.
