<p>Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. These include: a "Missgeburt" deformed baby (1669), an armless young man (1716), Martha Bagshaw, the armless American Lady, conjoined twins Hellen and Judita from Hungary (between 1702-14),  another born to joseph and Elizabeth Verrier in Taunton (1827), another born in Pavia in 1748, John Baptist Dos Santos, the Human Tripod, or Three-legged child (and first bipenis, born September 1845),  the Lancashire Prodigy (conjoined twins with one head - 1837), Chang and Eng the Siamese Twins (1836), Two Children United (1833), the Lilliputian Family (Henrick Christian, Maria Catherina and Christian Henri Brockstedt (1845), Elizabeth French (the Horned Woman), Mary and John Rice's "three surprising monsters"  (late 17th century?), a "Grimace Spaniard" who distorted his face into animal-like contorsions (1718) , the Wild Indian Venus, a Botocudo from the amazon area of Brazil and a 4 legged chicken, The American Hen, I Gemelli Siamesi (conjoined twins linked at the breastbone playing shuttlecock : tavolo 13 / fig. 44 from some publication. From about the 1860s?).</p>
