Containing, in two sheets and a half of letter press, printed on a fine paper, with an entire new type, cast on purpose, a select, impartial, and interesting collection of political transactions and occurrences, that happen at home or abroad, wherever our fleets or armies may be engaged, or this country is concerned, either by positive alliances, commercial connexions, or relative situations. The whole divided and arranged into domestic and foreign politics. Debates of Parliament. Ministerial arrangements. War equipments. Royal proclamations. Prosecutions for treason, &c. Naval and military appointments. Gazette intelligence. Acts of Parliament. Important committee reports. Debates of the French convention. ---American Congress. ---German and Polish diets, &c. Treaties for peace, alliance, or subsidy. Levying of sea and land forces, with their destination, &c. With all that may relate to battles, sieges, victories, &c. To which will be added, and printed so as to admit of being collected and bound separately, eight pages of a new and impartial history of the present war; tracing its commencement, detailing its progress, and displaying its principles, with every possible precision, candour, and independence. Each number will be embellished with a beautiful engraving, designed and executed by artists most eminent for their taste, genius, and execution. The subjects of the engravings will occasionally contain correct likenesses of popular characters, and representations of the most interesting events, but particularly engagement by sea and lend.
