<p>A4 poster (blue background) advertising PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) drug treatment for HIV infection, pointing out it is no substitute for using condoms and has side effects of diarrhoea, nausea and severe headaches. This campaign launched on launched on limited release in London & Brighton in 2004. Rolled out across England and Wales in June 2005.</p>

HIV : now there is a treatment that may prevent HIV infection after the virus has entered the body : PEP post exposure prophylaxis : treatment only works if started within 72 hours of exposure : 1 month course of anti-HIV medication ... / Terrence Higgins Trust.

<p>The eighth in a 10-part series investigating diseases from around the globe. Each programme features a single disease and looks at attempts to develop treatments that are effective and affordable to the world's poor who make up the majority of the victims. This part features Rotavirus - a viral form of acute gastroenteritis which causes severe diarrhoea in young children. The introduction of a Rotovirus vaccination is shown, developed by GlaxoSmithKline, but too expensive for countries like Mexico where the disease is rife, killing 1000 children a year.</p>
