A table telling how many yards, feet, and inches in length, and how many in breadth, it will take to make an acre of land. The Explanation of the Table. If a Piece of Land be 11 Yards and 9 Inches in Breadth, it must be 430 Yards and 8 Inches in Length for to contain an Acre of Land. Again, If the Breadth be 26 Yards 2 Feet, you will find the Length of the same for to be 181 Yards 1 Foot 6 Inches, which is the true Content of an Acre of Land. Again, If the Breadth of a Close be 90 Yards 2 Feet 3 Inches, you must go in Length 53 Yards 1 Foot, which is the true Content of an Acre of Land. Again, If the Breadth of a Close be 123 Yards 2 Feet 3 Inches, you must go in Length 39 Yards and 4 Inches, which is the true Content of an Acre of Land. Stolen on Saturday night, the 17th of April last, out of Caerllegan-Fach farm, in the Parish of Meidrim, in the County of Carmarthen, a sorrel horse, Rising Four Year Old, about Thirteen Hands and a Half high; has a Bald Face, with a Red Star on the left Side of his Forehead, the Mane hanging on the Left Side, with a Switch Tail; has the Warble on the Middle of the Back Bone, inclining rather to the right Side; the Hair rubbed off his Sides, occasioned by working in a Team; Two Hind Feet White, and Part of the Hoof of one of his Fore Feet wanting. - Whoever will apprehend, or give such Notice to Samuel Thomas, of Caerllegan-Fach aforesaid, as may be the Means of apprehending the Offender or Offenders concerned in stealing the said Horse, shall receive two Guineas Reward.
