A catalogue of the entire library of Mrs. Katherine Bridgeman, (of Cavendish Square) deceas'd: consisting of a choice collection of books in most Branches of Polite Literature, Several Curious Manuscripts, Particularly Letters of the Duke of Monmouth's own Writing to King James II. A catalogue of all the materials of the dwelling-house, out-houses, &c. Of His Grace James Duke of Chandos, deceasd, at his late seat call'd Cannons, near Edgware in Middlesex: divided into such easy sortments, or lots, as to make it agreeable to the publick. Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Cock, on Tuesday, the 16th of June 1747, and the eleven following days (at Cannons aforesaid.) The said house, &c. may be view'd every day (Sunday excepted) to the hour of same, which will begin each day at half and hour after eleven precisely, by all persons who shall produce a catalogue of these materials. [A] catalogue of several curious figures of human anatomy in wax, taken from the life. With several other valuable preparations (the works of the Late Ingenious Mons. Denoune, of Paris, who was forty years in making these excellent emblems of nature) lately exhibited at Somerset-House, and in Cecil-Street, in the Strand, which will be sold by auction at the great room, formerly Mrs. Savage's India warehouse, over the New-Exchange in the Strand; on Tuesday the 11th of May, 1736. The said figures may be viewed at the place of sale by every person producing a catalogue; on Wendnesday the 5th, Thursday the 6th, Saturday the 8th, and Monday the 10th. Friday the 7th being reserved, when ladies only will be admitted. Catalogues to be had at Mr. Cock's in the Piazza, Covent Garden, at One Shilling each, and at the place of sale. Mr. Cock begs leave to acquaint the curious, that his selling a price to the catalogue, proceeds from no other molive, than thereby to oblige the publick, by putting a check on such, who otherwise would claim the same right of coming in gratis.
