What brought you to our website today?

Low plants with divided 3 lobbed leaves and deep
pink flowers on longish stems.

Trifolium Pratense (Red Clover)

Upright plant with bright green conifer-like stems with no leaves or flowers (cryptogamic). Has high (10%) silica content and was once used as an abrasive in carpentry and metal cleaning. Used in homeopathy to treat cystitis and other urinary conditions. Has also been used to treat nasal polyps and to stem nosebleeds and haemhorrages.

Equisetum arvense (Horsetail)

Species plant with thick glaucous ovate dark green
leaves with twisted "spider"flower.

Strophanthus Divaraticus (Strophanthus)

Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion- field of)

Shows large field of flowering yellow plants and
few seeding heads.

Taraxacum Officinale (dandelion- field of)

Shows grass-like low plant with long, glossy, linear leaves. This is a plant genus of the family liliaceae, of which members contain steroidal glycosides and provide an ingredient of shengmaisan, a Chinese herbal medicine.

Ophiopogon japonicus (Mondo grass).

Shows bramble with tri-foliate leaves and clusters
of green and black berries.

Rubusfructicosus (Blackberry)

PLANT WITH DARK GREEN LOW GROWING, LONG POINTED
LEAVES.

ELETTARIA CARDAMOMUMN (CARDAMOM)

Close up of green stem and broad, long leaves. Has
also a developing seed head.

Zea Mays (Maize)

Climbing plant with green stems and ovate leaves
(pointed). Bears green to red oval fruit.

Solanum Dulcamara (Bittersweet - Woody nightshade)

Artemisia annua (Sweet Wormwood)

Very tall, annual plant with pinnately-divided
saw-toothed green leaves. Source of artemisinin which may be used
to treat chloroquine resistant cerebral malaria.
