Advices have been received from Major-General Nugent, that on the 9th instant, Colonel Stapleton had attacked a Body of rebels near Saintfield, and at first suffered some Loss, but in a second Attack he entirely defeated them, with great Slaughter. Captain Chetwynd, Lieutenant Unite; and Ensign Sparkes were killed, and Lieutenant Edensor wounded.
