    8. Inquiries are made by the Port Sanitary Inspector as to the existence of cases of Venereal Disease on board ship, and if any exist, treatment at the West Hartlepool Clinic is recommended. Leaflets on the subject giving particulars of the various clinics are distributed on incoming vessels. 9. This Authority has appointed Dr. Cookson, Bacter- iologist and Pathologist of Sunderland Infirmary, to examine and report on any rats sent to him from this port. TABLE C.
