Description

Demonstrates the vaginal and cervical staining technique as pre-biopsy for the early detection of carcinoma. Much of the film is footage of cells (stills shot with a rostrum camera) with some moving image of cell activity (the film is a little faded and scratched. 8 minutes several methods of obtaining cervical cells are demonstrated. There is an array of apparatus and footage of an unidentifiable woman having a cervical smear; this is repeated.
