About this work

Description

A notebook containing miscellaneous entries on human anatomy, diseases, drugs, natural history and other topics, by an unidentified English medical student. With a few recipes. Part of the book contains notes on six lectures delivered at the `theatre of Anatomy and Medicine, Webb Street [Southwark], by Mr Cooper' (ff. 68v.-80). On f. 31 is a press cutting reprinted from the London Medical Gazette, 10 July [1830], on a case of hydrophobia.
