Description

Patent for "a new tonic medicine for the cure of coughs and diseases of the chest" made from "extracting the sap from the maritime pine ... either in its natural state or when clarified, or after being made into a syrup". It is supposed to cure coughs, asthma, consumption, chest diseases, dysentery "and complaints of the genital and urinary organs".
