Description

Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Includes: bizarre postcard of babies drinking milk directly from cows via tubes. Two are in a pram (1900s?), "Strong democracy needs well-nourished children" (Parents' Magazine, 1941), The Cheese Bureau promoting cheese as a food when weaning babies, S-M-A powdered baby food (John Wyeth), 1930s leaflets and cards advertising the Compagnie Générale du Lait's 'Lait Mont Blanc' for infants.
