About this work
Description
Letter from Sir John Burdon Sanderson to Galton, advising him that he will submit a revision for the index shortly. Sanderson also suggests that Galton substitute the phrase "Doctrine of Descent" for "Doctrine of Evolution", claiming that Herbert Spencer first used "evolution" to describe his own theories, not Charles Darwin.
