Second in a 3-part series of programmes broadcast to mark the 50th anniversary of the National Health Service, where a cross-section of the general public are able to put forward their views of the NHS. In this programme the audience are able to put their questions to politicians from the three main parties: Simon Hughes MP, the Liberal Democrat Health Spokesman; Ann Widdecombe MP, Shadow Health Secretary; Frank Dobson MP, Secretary of State for Health. The questions cover such topics as the current waiting lists for treatment, the future of the NHS, funding for public health services, private healthcare and the question of 'rationing' of treatment, according to age and geography.
