Description
On the failure of the Duke of Newcastle and the elder Pitt's political administration and Pitt's disappointed ambition. Pitt was facing much opposition at this time and was unhappy that the King did not trust him with the formation of the ministry. The suggestion that this print was designed by Leonardo da Vinci further adds to the satire against Pitt

The letter on the table is inscribed 'To the Enquiry'; the latter in Pitt's hand is from the King and is inscribed: 'Sir I have seen your play and it will not doe George R'.
