About this work

Description

Creeping plant with blue-mauve flowers and scallop-edged green leaves. Un-related to common ivy (Hedera helix). The leaves, dried and mixed with verbena leaves, have been used as a tea. They have an aromatic tang and have been used in salads. Properties are antitussive, antineuralgic.
