Biographical note
E W Meredith (fl. 1825), of Comely Bank, Edinburgh. The Dr. Balingall (1780-1855) mentioned was military surgeon in India 1806-18 & professor of military surgery at Edinburgh. Dr Anderson replies back on the same letter.
