Description

This short amateur film shows various miscellaneous scenes from Roehampton Hospital. Includes footage of doctors, prosthetic limbs and how they work both on and off patients who need them. One man in particular is featured and he shows how he can perform functions such as writing, handling delicate objects like an egg, opening a cigarette packet and lighting a cigarette using a prosthetic hand and forearm. There is brief footage of some of the limbs being made. A man with a metal (?) prosthetic leg is filmed walking in the grounds outside the hospital and a man with a plastic (?) prosthetic leg is shown walking and performing a range of actions inside the hospital.
