About this work

Description

This photograph was taken to represent the up and down feelings common to patients suffering from a mood disorder. The photographer suffers with bipolar disorder and used this image of a stairwell to depict the varying levels of mood states associated with mental health disorders as well as representing other feelings surrounding mental health; the spiralling feeling associated with depression.
