These papers and cassette were given to the CMAC in 1990 by Mrs Ligtermoet (HJL), an Australian antenatal teacher using methods established by Grantly Dick Read (whose papers are also held by the CMAC: PP/GDR).

There is correspondence with the Queen's Nursing Institute and cuttings re Mrs Ligtermoet's attempts to introduce a domiciliary midwifery service into Perth, 1956-1959, in the Australia file of Queen's Nursing Institute records, CMAC:SA/QNI/S.1
