Image of a solar microscope and its parts made by Benjamin Martin in the mid eighteenth century in London. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A60975).
