Description
These notebooks contain a full list of all Retreat patients from 1796 up to the 1930s, in order of admission. The first volume was probably compiled in 1883, with all patients entered up to that date, and the entries then continued thereafter. The purpose for the series is not clear, but may have been to do with compiling statistics, perhaps of Quaker patients. They are not indexed
