Clémentine Delait (1865-1939) at her café in Thaon-les-Vosges, Lorraine, France, circa 191-. Madame Delait re-named her café 'Le café de la femme à la barbe', and she was a popular tourist attraction. Process print, ca. 1900s.

Lettering

Thaon-les Vosges. Madame Delait dans son salon. Exiger le cachet de Mme Delait. The impression catalogued bears on the verso the "cachet de Mme Delait" assuring its provenance from her, dated 1921.
