The material in this file appears to centre on Singer and Grattan's 1952 book Anglo-Saxon Magic and Medicine, and includes 1949 letters from Francis P. Magoun in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as earlier correspondence, notes about the book's structure, typescripts of sections, transcripts of Anglo-Saxon texts, an offprint of "Die Prognostica Democriti im Cod. Hunterian T.4, 13, S. IX X" by Henry Sigerist (from Archiv für Geschichte der Medizin, Bd.XIII Heft 5 u 6, 1921) and a proof of the contents pages.
