Description

"St. François tombant en extase, pendant qu'un chérubin imprime sur son corps les stigmates des playes de Jésus Christ. Son compagnon, lisant dans un livre, est assis dans le fond à gauche. Au milieu du devant est jette à terre un livre, une tête de mort et une feuille de papier, sur laquelle est écrit: Ego enim stigmata domini nri Jesu Christi in corpore meo por to. A gauche on lit: Agostino Caracci forma. Bologna. 1586. La marge d'en bas offre l'inscription suivante : Signasti domine ser.vvm tuum Franciscum, signis redemptionis nostrae. Hauteur : 16 p. 4 lign. La marge d'en bas : 6 lign. Largeur : 11 p. 8 lign. Les épreuves postérieures portent cette adresse: et nunc apud Philippum Thomassinum, écrite à la suite de celle d'Aug. Carrache. Les dernières épreuves qui sont très foibles, ont l'adresse de Jean Jacques Rossi. 1649."--Bartsch, loc. cit.
